When we moved into our home I brought with these metal stools from our last house. They were too short for the counter and were an oil rubbed bronze finish. They just didn’t go with anything we had. I attempted to spray paint them to hold me over but the painted didn’t hold up at all and I was left with seriously “distressed” (and not in a good way) stools.
I decided I really liked these saddleback wooden stools from Pottery Barn but wasn’t ready to shell out the $100 a stool.
Luckily, I happened upon these three wood saddleback stools for sale on swap and shop.
A little left over paint and $15 dollars later and I had my own grey saddleback stools ready to go!
Next step is uprading the kitchen island! Should I leave it white, go grey, add beadboard, board and batton…So many choices what do you think?!?
