1950’s Office Make Over

A little while back my great uncle passed away. He had loved nature, wood carving, and collecting books and information. After his passing my great aunt decided it was time to redo his office and make it a more practical space for guest as well as herself.

The original room had old wood paneling and drywall which I painted. It also had this beautiful little nook just waiting to shine! The inspiration for the room was three pillows my great aunt had picked out, as well as a beautiful desk, and sleeper sofa.

I haven’t quite perfected my photography skills so the colors may be a tad off…but the color scheme for the room was grey, blue, and charcoal and it turned out beautifully. Check out the results for yourself and let me know what you think!
